By booking a tour, experience, or service with Beyond Guidebook, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.


1. Booking & Payment

  • All bookings are subject to availability and must be confirmed in writing.

  • Full payment (or a deposit, where applicable) is required to secure your place.

  • Prices are in AUD and include GST unless stated otherwise.

  • Bookings made through third-party platforms are subject to their additional terms.


2. Cancellation & Refunds

By You:

  • Cancellations more than 7 days before the tour: Full refund (less any third-party processing fees).

  • Cancellations within 7 days: 50% refund.

  • Cancellations within 48 hours: No refund.


By Us:

  • Beyond Guidebook reserves the right to cancel tours due to weather, safety, insufficient numbers, or unforeseen circumstances.

  • In such cases, you’ll receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.


3. Weather, Safety & Itinerary Changes

  • Tours run rain or shine unless conditions pose a safety risk.

  • We may modify itineraries for weather, safety, or operational reasons. Any changes will be communicated as early as possible.

  • We are not liable for costs resulting from delays or changes beyond our control.


4. Health, Fitness & Medical Conditions

  • You must inform us of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or mobility issues at the time of booking.

  • You acknowledge that participation in outdoor activities involves some level of risk.

  • You are responsible for ensuring you have adequate travel insurance, including coverage for medical treatment and cancellation.


5. Liability & Acknowledgement of Risk

  • While we take all reasonable care, Beyond Guidebook is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expenses incurred during your participation in a tour or related activity, except where required by law.

  • You participate at your own risk and must follow all safety instructions given by your guide.


6. Conduct & Respect for Nature

  • We promote low-impact, respectful tourism. Disruptive, abusive, or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from a tour without refund.

  • Participants are expected to respect local environments, cultural sites, and wildlife.


7. Photography & Media

  • We may take photos or videos during tours for promotional purposes. Please inform us in writing if you do not consent to this.

  • You are welcome to take photos, but please respect the privacy of others.


8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and promotional materials is the intellectual property of Beyond Guidebook and may not be copied or reproduced without written permission.


9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of NSW courts.
